In this chaplet we honor the five senses of our Lord Jesus Christ and entreat God for the triumph of His Church.

The chaplet is composed of a crucifix and 39 beads. The 33 grouped beads represent the 33 years of our Lord's life. The first 30 recall to mind the 30 years of Jesus' hidden life, and the final 3 beads recall Jesus' public life.

The first 30 beads are divided into five groups of six to honor the five senses of Jesus: touch, hearing, sight, smell, and taste. These senses reside primarily in His Holy Face, hence, we render homage to all of the sufferings that our Lord endured in His Face through each one of these senses.
